The Fourth of July is almost here!

This Fourth of July is more than our annual Independence Day celebration.

It’s America’s 250th birthday.

On July 4, 2026, our nation marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a milestone known as the Semiquincentennial and celebrated nationwide as America250.

This historic anniversary is an opportunity to honor our past, celebrate our present, and look toward the future. Communities across the country are commemorating this once-in-a-generation event with parades, concerts, educational programs, volunteer projects, and gatherings that bring Americans together.

As we celebrate freedom, democracy, and the enduring spirit of our nation, we also reflect on the ideals that have shaped the United States for two and a half centuries.
